God Leads a Pretty Sheltered Life

This is copied from a blog I read everyday and really makes me cry.

At the end of time, billions of people were scattered on a great plain before God’s throne. Some of the groups near the front talked heatedly – not with cringing shame before God’s throne, but with embittered belligerence.
"How can God judge us? How can He know about suffering?” snapped a brunette, jerking back a sleeve to reveal a tattooed number from a Nazi concentration camp. “We endured terror, beatings, torture, and death!”
In another group, a black man lowered his collar. “What about this?” he demanded, showing the rope burns. “Lynched for no crime but being black! We’ve suffocated in slave ships, been wrenched from loved ones, and toiled ‘til only death gave release.”
Hundreds of such groups were visible across the plain. Each had a complaint against God for the evil and suffering He permitted in His world. How lucky God was, they all seemed to agree, able to live in heaven where all is sweetness and light, without weeping, fear hunger or hatred. Indeed, what does God know about man? What does He know about being forced to endure the trials of life? After all, God leads pretty sheltered life.
So each group sent out a leader, chosen because he had suffered the most. There was a Jew, a black, an untouchable from India, a person who was illegitimate, a person from Hiroshima and others who had tasted life’s bitterest dregs. At last they were ready to present their case. It was rather simple: Before God would be qualified to be their judge; He must endure what they had endured.
Their decision was that God should be sentenced to live on earth as a man. But because He was God, they set certain safeguards to be sure He would not use His divine powers to help himself.
  • Let Him be a Jew.
  • Let the legitimacy of His birth be questioned.
  • Let Him champion a cause so just, but so radical, it brings upon Him the hate, condemnation and destructive attacks of political and religious authorities.
  • Let Him be indicted on false charges, tried before a prejudiced jury and convicted by a cowardly judge.
  • Let Him see what it is to be terribly alone and completely abandoned by every living being.
  • Let Him be tortured and … let Him die.
  • And let His death be humiliating; let it take place beside common criminals, while He is jeered at, mocked, and spit on.
As each leader announced his portion of the sentence, loud murmurs of approval went up from the great throng of people. But suddenly, after the last one had finished pronouncing sentence, there was a long silence. No one uttered another word. No one moved. For suddenly, all recognized the stark reality; God had already served his sentence.

----------------------

This remind me of something happen to me yesterday and few months ago while some people talking bad to me while I do nothing.
I am really sad and a little bit angry while I know that. But I always belive there's a choice of everything. We can choose to be back angry and negative or we can choose to be forget it and thinking about good things.
I know I win. :)

You know why?
Because He had feel what I feel even worse and He had win before me. What I need to do is JUST follow. I don't need to open the door. I just.. follow.

1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

I choose not to think about negativity, gossip, etc... and rather think about His word day and night and God bring back my joy. :)

Arts and your heart

Did any of you ever heard about Albrecht Dürer?
Here is the story.
Once upon a time, there were a poor little family with 2 elder son who has a dream to be an artist. Both of them have a great talent but they don't have money to go to school and learn to be a professional artist. Both of them discuss how can they reach their dream. And finally it cames to a conclusion, one of them will work and the other will go to school and after one success, the other will take his turn and learn. Albrecht then go to school and Albert support his brother in financial.
Years goes by and Albrecht success, he earn money from his works and back to his family. When they gather together at dinner time, Albrecht look at his brother, Albert and says gently... "thank you brother, And now, Albert, blessed brother of mine, now it is your turn. Now you can go to Nuremberg to pursue your dream, and I will take care of you."
Albert look at Albrecht and tears fall down from his eyes... he hold his brother's hand and said... "No, brother. I cannot go to. It is too late for me. Look ... look what four years in the mines have done to my hands! The bones in every finger have been smashed at least once, and lately I have been suffering from arthritis so badly in my right hand that I cannot even hold a glass to return your toast, much less make delicate lines on parchment or canvas with a pen or a brush. No, brother ... for me it is too late."
Albrecht pour all his heart and love for his brother Albert who sacrifice his hands for him in to a piece of art.
the art is called "Praying Hands".

The picture of "Praying Hands" has bless so many people around the world, there's no words, no explanation, but it touch many hearts.

Sometimes there's a time when no words can explain our hearts, no words can express our hope, prayer, our dreams... but art can always express what we feel.
Scrapbooking is not only about capturing our daily memories, but we can also pour our heart into that.
Put your heart into your work of arts and they will tell you a story.

These are 2 of my LOs that describe all my hearts. One with the journaling, one none.
